Heath Shuler never made much of an impact in Washington as a QB for the Redskins, but he may have an effect on the presidential race. The former first-round flop is now a U.S. Representative for North Carolina and Democratic superdelegate, and yesterday put his support behind Hillary Clinton, fulfilling his promise to back whichever candidate won his district.
Now, if only Jeff George and Todd Marinovich would get off the fence.
